WINAIR begins limited commercial flights
Windward Islands Airways International (WINAIR ) restarted commercial flights on July 4.
In a statement, the airline says in implementing a limited operating schedule, its first commercial flight operated from Sint Maarten to Curacao and Aruba.
WINAIR says it will operate scheduled flights to St Barth, Antigua, Curacao and Aruba.
Meanwhile, the airline says it will reopen additional destinations from Sint Maarten when its individual island partners reopen to commercial air traffic.
It notes COVID-19 affected Sint Maarten and the world in numerous ways.
Since then WINAIR has implemented safety protocols to ensure it offers safe, reliable, consistent services to protect its customers who are anxious to travel once again.
In addition, the airline is advising customers to review Sint Maarten's COVID website and the websites of the country they intend to visit.
This is to ensure all required protocols for entry and re-entry into the desired destination have been met.
WINAIR is looking forward to expanding its services from Sint Maarten when it is appropriate to do so.
The airline notes it may operate charter flights throughout the region with proper authorisations.
