SVG general election: Special voting time for quarantined voters

An agreed time has been arrived at for persons in quarantine to vote in the November 5 general election in St Vincent and the Grenadines.

According to the new health guidelines, eligible voters/electors who are in day 6 to day 14 in quarantine will be allowed to vote between the hours of 5pm to 5:30pm.

These persons must have the appropriate Medical Officer’s Order in order to be allowed to vote.

There will be no mixing of electors/voters in quarantine with general electors/voters.

Where general electors/voters are still in queue at 5pm waiting to vote, the elector/voter holding the appropriate Medical Officer’s Order will wait until the general voters have voted to enter the queue.
