St Barts lifts beach ban after jellyfish scatter

The Community of St Barts has announced a beach ban due to a jellyfish concentration has been lifted.

The Community reported officials of the ATE (Territorial Environment Agency) visited the beaches of Corossol, Public and Grand-Galet and reported the jellyfish concentration has apparently scattered.

"So the ban on access and swimming on these beaches is lifted, but swimmers are reminded to exercise vigilance and not to approach if one or more jellyfish are found to return."

On November 12 the community announced swimming on public beaches, along with access, was strictly prohibited because of the passing of jellyfish concentration.
