Low pressure showing signs of development

The US National Hurricane Centre (NHC) said a non-tropical low pressure system, located near Bermuda, is showing signs of further development.

NHC said the low pressure, which is located 550 miles east-southeast of Bermuda, has a high (80 percent) chance of formation during the next 48 hours and a 90 percent chance during the next five days.

Elsewhere, a broad area of low pressure is expected to form in a couple of days over the south-western Caribbean Sea.

NHC said some gradual development of this system will be possible through the middle of the week as it moves slowly northward or north-north-westward over the western Caribbean Sea.

It has a near zero chance of formation during the next 48 hours and a low (30 percent) chance during the next five days.
