COVID-19 spike in Antigua and Barbuda

Six new cases of coronavirus were detected in Antigua and Barbuda.

The Ministry of Health confirmed the new cases in its updated bulletin for October 16.

The new cases were discovered in 16 samples sent to the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) lab in Trinidad for testing.

These new cases took Antigua and Barbuda’s COVID-19 tally to 119 but only 15 of those patients are actively infected.
