New COVID-19 cases in the Bahamas

The Bahamas’ confirmed coronavirus tally now stands at 111 after three new cases were detected on Saturday.

The Ministry of Health said all three cases are women from Grand Bahama.

Two of the cases, who are 16 and 39-years-old, have a history of travel.

All of the women are isolated in their homes.

New Providence continues to be the hotspot for infections in the Bahamas with 83 confirmed cases. There were 14 infections in Grand Bahama, 13 in Bimini and one in Cat Cay.

Eighty-nine people have recovered and 11 deaths were recorded.
