From October 1, Guyanese will pay less for super gas, diesel and kerosene at service stations across the country.
GuyOil made the announcement of impending price reductions today.
In a statement, the company said: “As a national entity, Guyoil is always committed to its strategic objective of being the price stabiliser for the nation. Though the company saw no reduction in acquisition cost, Guyoil is aware of the economic challenges being face by customers and businesses as the nation continues to battle COVID-19.”
“The company hopes the reduction will bring significant ease to its customers.”
Super gas will now cost GYD$155 per litre while diesel will be GYD$175 per litre.
Consumers will pay GYD$90 per litre for kerosene and GYD$145 per litre for gas oil.
